Scope and Contents This collection contains files of the North Central, Illinois, and National chapters of the American Association of University Professors (AAUP). Files include correspondence, meeting agendas and minutes, membership rosters, and publications. The majority of the correspondence is to North Central AAUP members from national AAUP offices discussing conferences, publications, and membership dues. This collection includes handouts, lecture notes, videos, slides, and exams/quizzes from the classes that Adams taught. Additional materials include a course proposal and developmental documents regarding the Illinois Latin Exam.

The majority of this collection is related to Stephen Sturk, a former North Central student of Dr. McKinley. Files include articles about Sturk, letters from Sturk to McKinley, flyers and programs related to Sturk, scores and sheet music written by Sturk, a student paper of Sturk’s, and an audio cassette tape of Sturk’s The Evening Service. In addition, there is a print from a digital photograph of Sturk and McKinley.

Scope and Contents Each Annual Report contains a brief narrative overview of the year, containing information on enrollment, faculty, programs, projects, registration, and tuition. The focus, however, is mainly on the financial status of the College. Along with a breakdown of the College’s financial status, the Annual Report also contains a listing of individual and corporate donors. Scope and Contents The papers within this collection are mostly carbon copies of correspondence received and sent by President Arlo Schilling from 1960 to 1975. The bulk of the files cover 1960 to 1973, but a few files in the collection date from as early as 1929, reflecting that the issue discussed in the file was an ongoing one and that President Schilling and his staff found the previous correspondence useful in the matter. The majority of the papers pertain to either faculty administration or the Japan exchange program. The faculty administration files include the 1989 faculty handbook as well as materials reviewing and summarizing awards, grants, and professional terms for faculty.
